Job Overview
The Sr. Mgr. Integrated Supply Chain is responsible for driving the Supply Chain Performance of the Business Unit by leading process improvements projects and process standardization in close collaboration with the Supply Chain teams and other functions Product Management, Sales, Procurement and Operations.
The Sr. Mgr Integrated Supply chain is also the partner of the Operations and SC leaders in the Sales Inventory Operations Planning process (SIOP). Therefore the process improvement projects and process standardization cover all Supply Chain domains including Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Materials Management and the SIOP process.
Furthermore, the Sr. Mgr. Supply Chain & Projects supports the development and implementation of the BU Supply Chain strategy, the Manufacturing and Distribution footprint, as well as the Supply Chain integration of mergers and acquisitions.
The Sr. Mgr Integrated Supply Chain will have 1 to 3 reports and reports to the Director Supply Chain of Business Unit.
Task Summary & Responsibilities
• Optimize inventory management process to exceed the target customer service level while achieving company inventory targets on components and finished goods.
• Define best practices for Demand, Supply and inventory management processes.
• Lead implementation of new Supply Chain IT systems.
• Define and implement SIOP strategy with Supply Chain leaders and drive SIOP performance including Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Inventory turns, Sales Order Delivery Performance and plant Supply performance.
• Driving standardization by developing and deploying Standard Work with the SV Supply Chain teams.
• Represent and participate on behalf of the Business Unit in the TE Global Planning Community
• Drive the SIOP Process Improvement via Projects, including the Consensus Demand Creation Process and Product Segmentation.
• Work closely with the Continuous Improvement teams to drive innovation and continuous Improvements, share best practices and drive culture of continuous improvement
• Participate in the monthly SIOP meetings to support process improvements.
• Be the go-to person for the BU Leadership team for all Supply Chain related
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or similar.
• Master degree or MBA is preferred.
• APICS certification or similar is highly preferred
• 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain / Demand Management /SIOP /Manufacturing Operations in an international Industrial organization with a global supply chain.
• 5+ years’ experience in driving Supply Chain process improvements and projects and proven track record of achieving significant process improvements.
• Extensive functional knowledge and experience of planning, forecasting, Inventory Management and related Supply Chain areas.
• Relevant experience of working in the Industrial sector, preferably in a high mix low volume environment.
Hard skills
• Experienced in leading cross functional projects and/or distributed business teams
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience in multiple Supply Chain areas, understanding and able to optimize x-functional interdependencies and competing targets
• Ability to oversee broad and complex end-to-end Supply Chain environment
• Lean & Value Stream Mapping experience is a plus.
• Integral thinking and can optimize processes cross functional
• Advanced user of IT tools like: SAP ECC & MM, MicroSoft office: Powerpoint, Excel. Experience with SAP-IBP is a plus
