Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input 
provided by marketing, customers, Operations, Development Engineers or other employees. They 
maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications 
consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs 
to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and 
implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. 
They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

Job Details

  • Product design responsibility for electromechanical relays
  • Provide technical expertise on current production systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Partner with manufacturing engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and product design
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring engineering changes, validations, and test results meet internal quality standards
  • Technical support for Sales Representatives, Field Application Engineers and Customers
  • Project management for dedicated projects regarding product’s cost efficiency, product’s carbon footprint and special customer requirements (low- to medium-size)
  • Technical Support for Standard & Safety Approvals related to electromechanical relays 

Requirements and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible, professional engineering experience
  • Experienced in 3D design of mechanical components (stamped and molded parts) 
  • Experienced in working with Creo as standard CAD system
  • Excellent communication style in English language
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting ability 
Additional requirements:
  •  Experienced in using Windchill based databases for CAD data management
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and communicate technical information clearly
  • Experience working in production or manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to medium-scale production environments or global manufacturing operations
