Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

•Engaging in internal quality audit program; Use data driven decisions for continuous improvement; Devise methods, processes, procedures to increase efficiency; Establish and/or implement departmental policies, procedures and standard work
•Preparing and reporting out on quality metrics to plant and corporate staff; Direct the tracking of defects, test results or other quality control data; Direct plant inspection activities
•Developing, implementing, and managing first/last piece inspections, Quality Inspection, audits and control plans processes and data
•Supporting customer concerns to drive root cause investigation using 8D and establish corrective and preventative actions are taken by responsible parties


•Ideal candidates are detail-oriented sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students currently working toward a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering
•Previous experience in a manufacturing environment as Quality / Manufacturing Engineer is preferred
•Demonstrated success on problem solving (identifies root cause, drive improvement actions and resolve problems permanently)
•Preferred knowledge on core manufacturing processes i.e. stamping, die casting, plating, heat treatment, molding, and assembly
•Familiarity with and use of Six Sigma tools & lean manufacturing techniques is considered an asset
•Knowledge and experience in ISO9001
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Proficiency with MS Office
•Must be a team player with a hands-on attitude, self-motivated, and ability to work with limited supervision
•Perform other related duties as assigned
