Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), provide basic system support for ECO issues within PLM systems, provide administrative support in the areas of engineering and quality system documentation to internal customers, development, creation, maintenance, and improvement of quality analysis tracking tools, databases and programs.


Essential Functions:


  • Process all production and development related ECO’s for site (Process, Product and System).
  • Change analyst assessments - review ECO’s for accuracy, completeness, and compliance to records requirements.
  • Create or revise documents in support of system documentation as assigned by quality management, i.e., training plans.
  • Troubleshoot ECO issues within QP3 that prevent promotion and/or release of ECO’s. Resolve issues or escalate as necessary.
  • Fulfill requests for documentation and records requests for operations and other groups on site.
  • Provide support to site quality management during external audits.
  • Participate in internal audit program, perform internal audit activities as part of audit team.
  • Maintain the standards library for the facility. 
  • Create, develop, maintain, and publishing of tracking and analysis tools for the Quality department. 
  • Administer Records program.
  • Develop specialized software applications, customized to users’ specifications.
  • Maintain data and publish regular reports for the Quality department and other departments as appropriate.


What your background should look like:


  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in quality analysis tracking and maintaining databases.
  • Advanced computer programming experience. 
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic and other programming languages to develop custom applications
  • Attention to detail; thoroughness; works well with others and individually.
  • Aptitude for technical understanding of products and manufacturing processes.
  • Works well under deadline pressures.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and conflicting priorities, comfortable interacting with senior management.
  • Able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Intelex Data Base experience strongly preferred
