Job Overview
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for maintaining and communicating the Supply Plan to internal and external Manufacturing sites and across the supply chain; and uses the forecast and customer order information to establish inventory levels that maximize investment and fill rates. The successful candidate is setting target for finished goods inventory levels based on market intelligence, and are responsible for managing, assisting, and training Supply Planners in the above-mentioned processes. He/She will manage Supply Chain organization globally, to ensure that integrated supply plans are developed and aligned to meet demand forecast, exceed service level while managing logistic costs and delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Financial Management both at the senior and middle management levels to plan according to S&OP (Sales, Operations & Inventory Planning) to exceed service levels and managing inventory investments
Responsibilities:
• Co-leads the S&OP process with Demand Planning. Ensures the efficient planning of product promotions, new production introductions and product end of life
• Identifies and resolves supply and demand issues that impact a maximized inventory
• Leads a team of regional planners to deliver extraordinary customer experience

• On a monthly basis, converts the forecast into a maximized production, sales and inventory investment plan
• Provides manufacturing updates on significant demand changes. Communicates with manufacturing plants, and plans for product updates, promotions, new product launches, end of life and rework
• Implements self-scheduling in the manufacturing plants. Assists planners with the planning tool upon implementation
• Sets target finished goods inventory levels based on S&OP and the manufacturing plants’ abilities to supply
• Optimizes supply chain solutions to manage logistic and distribution costs
• Partners with local sales team aligned to this key account to execute logistics agreements and recommend supply models
• Supports analysis and make recommendations to improve supply chain flow, manufacturing regions, transfers/cost reductions, inventory positioning and best incoterms
• Coaches, mentors and motivates direct team as well as builds working relations with functional departments and global team
What your background should look like:
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA desired
• 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain/S&OP/Demand Management or related disciplines with 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain management
• Extensive functional knowledge of planning, forecasting and related integrated supply chain areas
• Experience leading projects, and/or business teams or providing key technical expertise
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Directs others and sets a leadership example in company change initiatives
• Establishes team and department goals with direction and in concert with the strategic goals of the supply chain organization
• Consistently resolves conflict and gets others to resolve conflicts
• Achieving commitments. Consistently delivers on commitments in disciplined ways
