Job Overview

 

Our TE Connectivity Data & AI organization is on an accelerated journey to streamline our architecture across Data, BI and AI platforms, products and capabilities.

This position reports to Senior Director, Data & AI. This is an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end Solution Architecture function! A key responsibility will be to implement next generation platform, solution architecture principles & processes across functional domains for data, AI and BI products.

This leader will bring extensive experience, deliver future capabilities, inspire the team and partners, and will link data & AI products to business metrics.

Senior Manager will partner closely with Data Engineering, AI & Data Science and BI team leaders, as well as key business and IT stakeholders to build & scale the organization’s use of advanced technologies to optimize our investments and maximize value of data products.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Shape and lead a Data, AI and BI solution architecture team
  • Provide leadership in the field of data engineering, AI/ML, BI to bear in service of building capabilities to drive business growth
  • Define & implement technical strategies and roadmaps to bring data, AI and BI products into a seamlessly integrated set of capabilities.
  • Design & build data & AI capabilities that take advantage of advanced technology and architecture.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership by anticipating and responding to rapidly changing trends, translating relevant insights into products that create business value
  • Forge trusted partnerships with internal & external partners. Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs; clearly articulate the story of value created through data & technology

What your background should look like:

 

Skills, Experience, and Education:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, applied data science or related fields; advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of IT experience specializing in Data & Technology architecture, Data Engineering and AI
  • Demonstrated strength in examining issues, shaping solution architecture strategies and influencing effectively across the organization. Ability to drive & lead teams, challenge the status quo in technology & architecture
  • Superb interpersonal & communication skills, including the ability to explain technology concepts to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
  • Background or knowledge of Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing domains is preferred.
  • Proven track record of enabling strong solution architecture principles for Data & AI capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with data, analytics and AI technologies in cloud environments
  • Expert in implementing solution architecture for products that span Databricks, Redshift, Power BI, GenAI & Agentic AI capabilities in AWS is required.
  • Superb hands-on knowledge of Databricks tech stack and AI/BI Genie is a must.
  • Expert Agile & RVR practitioner; ability to define & implement prototypes and MVPs, make decision on scalability & future roadmaps is required.
  • Proven track record leading multiple high-profile projects with demanding deadlines & changing requirements. Ability to estimate required effort and prioritize work & resources appropriately.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $134,000 – 200,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
