Job Overview
Responsible for developing our High Voltage and Data Connectivity business across the region, expanding our customer base and seeking out new opportunities in close liaison with Sales and Global Product Management.
What You'll Be Doing....
- Business Analyzing & Planning; Track monthly & quarterly GATD Sales performance with the region (NAM & SAM) and prepare analysis & reports for managements’ business review, planning and decision making.
- Identify and drive business relevant initiatives for assigned product lines.
- Drive results primarily through influencing and collaborating with colleagues and peers.
- Support project activities for new opportunities together with Sales, including the handling of commercial negotiations.
- Facilitate communication between GATD Product Management and Sales relevant to new technology, upgrades and efforts and trends for current and next-generation products.
- Evaluate upcoming applications to provide strategic input to Product Management.
- Support Demand Management and Product Mgmt with regional forecasts on market needs and trends relative to assigned GPLs.
- Support Regional Sales strategy to continuously refine business strategies and priorities to help achieve growth and customer development.
What your background should look like:
- Engineering/Business degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in in a technical function, business development or product management field.
- Knowledge of the various GATD product lines preferred.
- Very good technical and commercial understanding.
- Proactive, dynamic team player who can independently and seamlessly take on internal, external, and cross-departmental activities in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
- Fluent language skills (oral & written) in English is required. Strong Spanish language skills (advantage)
- Willingness to travel within region, (25%-50%)
