Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our EMIA Sales team selling a range of innovative and technologically advanced products and services to clients operating at the forefront of the Automotive industry.

Based in Romania and reporting to the EMIA Sales Manager the position holder will act as the central point of contact or supporting role as part of a customer account focus team for all sales and project related issues for several Automotive Tier 1 customers.

Emphasis will also be placed on developing strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across multiple functions (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain).

Job Requirements

  • Project pipeline management and forecasting
  • Revenue Forecasting (5yr Outlook)
  • Stay in permanent direct contact (F2F visits, email, phone, messenger) with the customers to ensure on-going support and communication
  • Preparing the Strategic Business Plan for key customers
  • Budget preparation
  • Market Analysis
  • Monthly reporting on Sales figures and Project Status
  • Identifying Sales opportunities and converting into won business
  • Price negotiation and providing quotations
  • Facilitate Complex Engineering projects
  • Coordinating responses for Logistics and Quality related issues
  • Supporting Technical Product Presentations
  • Active participation in reviewing/supporting customer Account Receivable (AR) topics

What your background should look like

  • Minimum of 5 years Sales experience in the automotive industry (products requiring explanation from the field of electrics/electronics)
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organizational functions (internal & External)
  • A professional level of business acumen and strong commercial understanding
  • Technical and commercial training (college, university): e.g. Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (specializing in electronics/ electrical)
  • Proven track record in business development and ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities 
  • Project Management Experience - facilitating complex projects
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Flexibility in working days and a willingness to regularly travel
  • International orientation
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication, selling, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Target and results driven
  • Microsoft Office, SAP experience
  • Driving License
  • English language skills
