Job Overview

The Account Manager is the outside engineering representative for a number of accounts in a defined territory and/or a specific industry/technology. 

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager , the Aeronautic, Defense and Marine Account Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Gather all information needed to make the design input available as complete as possible 
  • Work out, prepare and present TE proposals (product selection, design solutions and project objectives) 
  • Interface between the TE ADM Account/sales managers and the customer to ensure that both sides 
  • Understand the requirements and have all needed information available 
  • Work out, prepare and present TE proposals (product selection, design solutions and project  objectives) 
  • Ensure on time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and 
  • product verification activities 
  • Provide regular project status updates to the involved parties. 
  • Regularly updates on Salesforce.com 
  • Design-in the TE products and solutions.

 

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor Degree or engineering degree preferably in electronics and electromechanics 
  • 4 to 5 years’ experience in business development in the defense industry 
  • Experience in customer relation management or field application 
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute on priorities.  
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with business plans.  
  • Valid driver’s license.  
  • Curious, entrepreneurial spirit and Leadership 
  • English and Hebrew languages are required for this Position 
  • Availability to travel abroad when required
