Technical Sales Engineer

Job Overview

  1. Technical support to customers in relation to the application of the products.
  2. Modification or creation of products (kits) suitable for the specific needs of customers (creation or modification of the list of components and related installation instructions)
  3. After-sales assistance in case of non-conformity or installation problems or product applicability with visits to the customer, even in the field anytime will be necessary
  4. Management of product certification processes by relating to the company's technical support network, the independent laboratory and the end customer (electricity companies): creation of documentation, coordination of tests and support in the management of the same
  5. Management of material testing: data entry into the portal, coordination activities between production and the customer, supervision during audits and tests with visits to production sites in Europe, if necessary
  6. Management of non-conformities and the qualitative part inherent to the product: preparation of the manufacturing and control plan and local support during the inspection visits at the production sites by the customer, if necessary
  7. Technical support for the oil & gas market: definition of products meeting the customer's technical specifications, insertion of these kits within the company system, preparation of the related installation instructions and required datasheets, after-sales assistance
  8. Support to the sales area in the promotion of new products or visits to new customers by organizing specific presentations on the range of products offered
  9. Organization of courses at the company laboratories or at the customer's for theoretical and practical product demonstrations

What your background should look like:

TSE profile:

  • Education: degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of languages: fluent English (an Italian obviously)
  • Years of experience: 5 to 10 years
  • The sector of origin: electrotechnical or electromechanical, experience preferably gained in companies dealing with medium voltage products or equipment (ref. ABB, Siemens, Prysmian, Nexans)
