Job Overview

Identifies opportunities to create efficiencies, reduce expenses, and improve quality and service in the supply chain. Provides routine support for supplier selection.

Your Main Tasks

  • Analyse product, demand and distribution characteristics for dedicated product groups
  • Integrate and optimize respective supply chain end-to-end process
  • Material flow integration
  • Review and optimization of supply parameters along supply chain
  • Monitor supply chain performance and drive improvements (also in close collaboration with other functions)
  • Driving optimization for transportation cost
  • Monitor forecast, order requirements and transportation solutions along supply chain
  • Escalation of critical supply
  • Working cross-functional as process owners for main KPI (integrated-process)
  • Have the competence to stop production or shipping in case of any doubt of non-compliance with quality rules in the production process and the quality of manufactured pieces
  • Follow the instructions of valid legal regulations and internal directives in the field of occupational health and safety, fire safety and environmental protection.

Your Ideal Background

  • Engineering or Master's degree in Industrial or Supply Chain management
  • Min. 2-year experience in supply chain optimization and planning in comparable environment, close to manufacturing operations, material management or logistic (industrial environment preferable)
  • Good Level of English language
  • Proven track record of supply chain improvements and related performance improvement results  
  • Wide range of planning experience (Capacity planning, supply planning, fine scheduling)
  • Experience in the Industrial Sector within a global organization is an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge Advanced Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong supply chain knowledge, manufacturing background or material management background
  • Knowledge of Lean Management or Six Sigma is an advantage
  • Committed, proactive working attitude (“driver for change”)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, problem-solving orientation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas
