Job Overview

The Strategic sourcing analyst will assist Procurement and Engineering with administrative tasks and logistical coordination to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing processes. This role involves managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Purchase Order Processing: Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Strategic sourcing: Data analysis, Supplier management, Supplier scouting and onboarding, Contracts management
- Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Scout new suppliers as needed 
- Vendor Management: Assist in maintaining and updating supplier information, including contract details and performance records.
- Invoice Processing: Coordinate with the finance team to process supplier invoices and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
- Documentation & Filing: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor communications.
- Compliance: Ensure that procurement activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
- Reporting: Generate procurement reports and provide data for analysis to improve procurement processes.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing communication.
- Liase with Regional procurement team and Engineering

What your background should look like:

- Education:  Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of SAP MM module.
