PROJECT MANAGER ENGINEER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Your main tasks

•    Lead the execution of the agreed transfer & new project implementation plan.
•    Track transfer & new project implementation action plan from initiation until execution and customer approval according to the defined timeline.  
•    Ensure timely information / escalation in case of bottlenecks and prepare pragmatic action plans / proposals for management approval.
•    Coordinate and Monitor transfers and new projects according to transfer & New project implementation procedure. 
•    Collaborate very closely with all operations teams on the transfer of tools, processes, and implementation of new products.
•    Regularly reporting to Management on a weekly basis.

Your ideal background

•    English fluent.
•    1-2 Years of experience in Project Management or Process Engineering
•    Analytical problem-solving skills.
•    Basic Knowledge of current automotive products. 
•    Ability to multi-task and work with conflicting design demands. 
•    Strong team leadership, as well as project leadership is mandatory. 
•    Ability to work in multi-functional areas and overcome barriers.
•    Ability to work in multi-cultural team Experience with Teamwork talent.
•    Strong ability to successfully lead and develop project/virtual teams
