Job Overview
- Maintain and develop the Quality Assurance according to IATF 16949 and according to specific customer requirements.
- Monitoring of internal PPM, analysis of root cause, definition of actions:
- Manufacturing quality engineer shall maintain a regular internal PPM follow up with a regular meeting including cross functional team to communicate, analyse and improve the results.
- Responsibility for Line Inspectors team management (LI directly reporting to Quality Manufacturing Engineer)
- Responsibility for maintaining respect of quality in all manufacturing lines under his responsibility.
- Responsibility of managing firewalls execution and follow up of results.
Your Main Tasks
• Ensure containment in plant stock according to containment actions defined by Quality Assurance Engineer due to Customer complaints
• Actively participates in investigation related to Customer and Interplant complaints
• Ensures availability of all traceability data, manufacturing recordings and all needed data to support Customer complaint investigation.

• Maintain and develop the Quality Management according to IATF 16949 in his/her area of intervention.
• Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures in his/her area of intervention.
• Implement, maintain (including reporting changes) and improve Business Operating System in his/her area of intervention, as well as in interaction with other areas /departments and EMEA guidelines
• Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service) and Quality Policy
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
• Support and guide employees to enable them to work safely, comply with regulations, TE policies and specifications and on achieving environmental sustainability goals
• Strive for continuous improvement of processes towards customer satisfaction
• Have the authority to stop Shipment and production in case of quality issue
• Cooperation on implementation of specific customer requirements into our system and our processes in his/her area of intervention.
• Actively supports PPM and CoPQ reduction.
• Preparation of the line and documentation (CP, QIP, Failure catalogue, control cards, etc.) in collaboration with Quality Assurance Engineers in case of customer audit.
• Ensure follow up of blocked stock via Quality Notification Z03 with regular reporting. Blocked stock includes: Raw material from TE plants, Non-conforming or suspected products detected in production, products blocked due to Customer complaints, returned products via RMA.
• Participates and ensures process and product release procedures.
• Updates and ensures availability of Quality KPI’s in shopfloor.
Your Ideal Background
- Master's or Engineering degree in industrial engineering or related fields
- 2+ Experience in Quality Manufacturing
- Automotive Field
