Your main tasks

Technology  Leadership
•    Lead development and deployment for next-generation of cable and connector assembly Manufacturing solutions aligned with zonal E/E architecture electric and software-defined vehicles.
•    Promote platform-based solution  for modular, digitalized and  scalable wire harness systems for  electrified vehicles.
•    Standardize  Manufacturing concept for high-speed data connectivity, power distribution, and functional safety according to a zonal wiring harness architecture.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
•    Enable Digital Twin for process simulation, traceability, and lifecycle monitoring.
•    Deploy Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for flexible intralogistics, material replenishment, and packaging automation.
•    Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Process Digitalization and simplification  to accelerate the digital integration and audit-proof traceability.
Industry Collaboration & Standardization
•    Contribute actively to wire harness standardization initiatives for compatibility, modularity, and reusability.
•    Partner with cross-industry alliances to support open innovation focused on sustainability and electrification.
Wire harness Transformation Hub
•    Serve as a bridge between Product engineering and industrial implementation, leveraging a Transformation Hub for  end-to-end transfer model.
•    Translate collaborative research outputs into actionable use cases and lighthouse projects.
•    Apply the AIDA model to guide innovation adoption:
o    Awareness: Raise visibility of new technologies and standards.
o    Interest: Engage stakeholders with relevant benefits and applications.
o    Desire: Build motivation via pilots and business cases.
o    Action: Support concrete implementation and scaling across the wire harness value chain.
Process & Operational Excellence
•    Deploy best-in-class assembly processes with automation, error-proofing, and lean principles.
•    Drive global alignment and continuous improvement across TE’s operations.
•    Embed miniaturization, modularity, and enhanced data capacity in new designs.
Key Success Outcomes
•    Accelerated transition to zonal architectures and scalable E/E systems.
•    Implementation of lighthouse projects bridging innovation and production.
•    Recognition of TE as a leader in digital and ecological wire harness transformation.
•    Improved resilience and agility in wire harness manufacturing ecosystems through automation and standardization.

Your ideal background

  • 7+ years of experience in engineering or process development, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years of specialized expertise in cable and connector assembly (experience in the automotive sector is strongly preferred)
  • At least 3 years of proven leadership in people management within a production or industrial setting
  • In-depth knowledge of assembly machines, tooling systems, and advanced production technologies
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Operational Excellence frameworks
  • Demonstrated success in project management, process standardization, and automation implementationStrong analytical mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence
  • Demonstrates high standards of integrity, accountability, inclusion, and team engagementWillingness to travel up to 50%, including to regional and international sites, based on business needsManaging & Measuring Work
