Job Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of plant equipment and facilities. The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, manages the maintenance team and budget, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety standards. The position also contributes to equipment upgrades and new machinery projects while supporting operational excellence and team development.

Your Main Tasks

  • Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
  • Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies  when necessary.
  • Manager Spare Parts Need according Forecasted budget & Targets
  • Drive Maintenance Imrpovement projects for higher reliability , better cost.
  • Contribute on New Machines/ Equipment design & developement

Your Ideal Background

  • Master's degree with technical background
  • +7 Experience in international industrial company
  • Experience as Maintenance Department leader
  • Can motivate direct reports and team or project members
  • Pushes tasks and decisions down; empowers others
  • Invites input from each person and shares ownership and visibility
  • Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions
  • Fluent in both English and French
