TE Connectivity is seeking a qualified Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst supporting the Global Automotive Business Unit. 

In this role, you will partner with leaders around the world in various finance and non-finance functions developing, interpreting, and presenting financial results. Analyses performed will be critical in helping to understand current and future business performance and necessary to drive key decision-making processes within the organization

Your main tasks

• Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Preparing detailed reports and financial statements with insight and commentary. These reports are then presented to senior management and stakeholders, helping understand the financial implications of results and business decisions.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: developing, updating, and maintaining financial models and comprehensive forecasts. Providing detailed financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts based on historical performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. 

• Operating Expenses analysis and control: Monitoring and control SG&A expenses, conducting reviews with key business partners, coordinate evaluations for investment and cost-reduction opportunities

• Month close activities: Prepare, Review and work with Financial Shared Service to make month end entries (accrual expenses, reversals); partner with regional finance teams to consolidate and interpret monthly results. 

• Business partnership: Working closely finance teams supporting global operations and product management teams on various projects to provide financial insights for data-driven decision making. 

• Communication with Corporate, Segment, and regional finance teams

• Process Improvement: Evaluating current financial planning and analysis processes, recommending, and implementing changes to improve these processes and systems

• Ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making.

Your ideal background

• Master's degree in finance or accounting
• At least 2 years work experience in FP&A, operations controlling or commercial controlling 
• Proficiency with Excel data analysis and other Microsoft suite applications, experience with SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Hyperion Financial Planning is preferred.
• Good command of English language both oral and written
