CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST II
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
Tasks and Responsibilities
TEOA Transformation & Leadership:
Drive TEOA transformation initiatives aligned with plant strategy and certification targets.
Mentor TEOA Practitioners and Kaizen Facilitators to ensure successful deployment.
Provide leadership in lean principles, processes, and production.
Project & Performance Management:
Manage project teams, deployment plans, and track progress toward continuous improvement goals.
Monitor and report TEOA KPIs, validate financial savings, and ensure certification achievements.
Training & Skill Development:
Train teams on TEOA Foundations, tools, and CoE updates.
Develop practitioner skills to sustain TEOA initiatives.
Implementation & Alignment:
Lead value stream projects, create value stream maps, and execute TEOA plans aligned with business strategy.
Facilitate Kaizen events and drive TEOA actions to completion.
Support Digital Factory Tools implementation and usage.
What your background should look like:
- Industrial engineering degree.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering with economical knowledge.
- Previous experience in leading continuous improvement activities on site or value stream level (Lean Leader or similar function) preferred, however, full training in TEOA will be given (This maybe at a site away from home site and could involve some overseas travel).
- Previous hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping and implementing TEOA tools. Lead minimum 15 Kaizen events with proven results in at least following areas: 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM preferred.
- Have the patience, perseverance, and passion to drive the TEOA culture across the plant.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management (Strong team leader)
- Strong project management skills.
- Basic Financial & Digital knowledge.
- Analytically minded and data driven.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and local language is essential.
