Talent Acquisition Specialist - Tangier, Morocco

 

Primary Objectives of Position:

 

The primary focus of this role is to provide the highest level of recruiting services to internal Hiring Managers.

 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Develop an understanding of TE Connectivity's business, ensuring knowledge and understanding of role duties, responsibilities and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Hiring Managers and other team members to create a partnership.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source candidates.
  • Review applications for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Pre-screen candidates. Create and present pre-screening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates and agencies / headhunters where applicable.
  • Interview candidates presented, which will include the use of face-to-face behavioural-based interviewing methodologies.
  • Organise, lead and document post-interview notes/feedback with interviewed candidates.
  • Perform detailed reference checking on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers.
  • Perform Personality Profiling Tests where required with candidates, review and discuss results with hiring managers.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
  • Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in making an offer of employment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates.
  • Work cooperatively with all members of the HR team to develop and implement recruitment plans and activities.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
     
    Education:
    Degree in Human Resources is desirable.
     
    Background:
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing and relationship management.
  • Must be able to manage competing demands while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably Success Factors.
  • Have strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Excellent administration skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Have a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level Managers
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment skills
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
     
Job Overview

TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.
