STAMPING SUPERVISOR II
JOB OVERVIEW:
The position is responsible for production and quality with focus on productivity and building systems. Getting involved in producing new products. Coordinate with operators and engineers to implement TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) tools. To ensure 5S+1 level at all times at highest level. Maintaining shop discipline is more essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for issuing production orders to floor.
- Upkeeping the Stamping machines in running conditions.
- Ensure availability of stamping materials on time for production.
- Responsible for head count allocation in shop.
- Escalate production stoppages to all concerned stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of production orders.
- Educate and train operators.
- Multi skilling among the operators.
- Coordinating with inter-department
- Drive TE Operations Advantage culture in shop floor.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement in Stamping department.
- Assessing resource requirements.
- Material variance /Consumable/Chemical tracking.
- Conducting Go meeting /PIM meeting-Review with Technician, leaders.
- Review of TE Operations Advantage deployment.
- Ensure labour productivity of the function.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
- 5+ years' experience and practitioner in the field of Production
- 5+ years’ experience as Stamping Supervisor
- People Manager
