Job Overview

The position is to develop and manage shifting members to maintain productive application of resources including safety, personnel, equipment, efficiency, material availability and to achieve goals and targets, quality & delivery in every shift Promote and establishes activities to comply with company’s standards and policies. Leads and promote as good example to shift members and continuous to improve product quality, output and cost.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain shop discipline, schedule operations, and supervise production flow.
  • Provide direction and support to operators during operations, especially when manpower is lacking.
  • Ensure production, quality, and on-time output delivery.
  • Maintain good working relationships with employees to promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure material availability for current and upcoming production orders.
  • Manage timekeeping and align manpower schedules with production plan demands.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of machines and work centers.
  • Update the daily production status board.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve production quality issues.
  • Promote and implement Kaizen ideas.
  • Drive the use of lean manufacturing practices and 5S standards.

What your background should look like

  • At least 2 years of college education or a diploma/vocational course.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Line Leader.
  • Experience in manufacturing and production set-up.
  • Ability to handle operators, execute plans, consolidate reports, and manage inventory.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge in root cause analysis, 5Whys, 5M, and Fishbone.
  • Can interpret Product Drawings.
