PLATING LINE LEADER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain Shop discipline, operations scheduling and supervision of production flow.
• Provides direction and support operators, during operation specially when lacking manpower during operation.
• Responsible for Production, Quality & output delivery on-time
• Maintain good working relationships with employees to promote positive working environment.
• Ensure Material availability for present & next Production Orders.
• Create time keeping and alignment of manpower schedule vs production plan demand
• Ensure housekeeping of machines and work center.
• Updating of daily production status board.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve production quality issues.
• Promotion and implementation of Kaizen ideas.
• Drives the use of lean manufacturing practices and 5S standards.

What your background should look like:

• At least 2 years of college education or Diploma Vocational
• 1+ years’ experience as Line Leader
• Experience in manufacturing process
• Basic SAP skills, know how to use PPT and Microsoft Excel.
• Should have knowledge on reading & understanding the basic drawings
