PLATING LAB TECHNICIAN III

OVERVIEW

 

This position is a key role in providing data, analysis, and solutions in the assigned process to ensure that the process is running within the defined control limit.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Check the certificate of analysis and performs testing of chemicals during Incoming process.
  • Analyse and sustain in-process chemical solutions to ensure conformance.
  • Performs chemical analysis during DOE, evaluation and validation runs.
  • Maintain updated inventory and facilitate procurement of Laboratory chemicals and apparatus.
  • Assist in the development of new method of analysis to enable control & improve the process.
  • Maintain documentations related to all laboratory procedures.
  • Provide chemical/ process performance report.
  • Participates in project execution and improvement activities.
  • Flexible in working in any shift.
  • Follows rules and regulations EHS, GST etc
  • Performs other duties that will be required as the workload dictates.
  • Environmental health and safety associated with his/her responsibilities.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • BS Chemistry/ BS Chemical Engineering/ BS Chemical Technology
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Registered Chemical Technician is an advantage
  • Titration Method (Manual & Auto-titration), Basic Problem-Solving tools (7QC Tools, 8D, etc)
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test and assist in research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. They evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. They create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users.
