Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

 

Lead, Drive, and Administered in overall compliance in environmental, health, and safety standards of the organization and that of the government requirements. Ensure up to date in regulatory regulations which pertains to EHS. A zero tolerance principles is within the DNA of the organization in adhering to set rules and regulations.

Responsibility :

 

1. Initiate, execute and Drive EHS strategical plan for the site.

2. Create training plan and execute accordingly that is related to EHS.

3. A subject matter expert in the field of EHS which includes and not limited to training the whole organization.

4. Support and serve as facility engineer in the requirement of facility engineering.

5. Establish and develop teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees; energy teams and behavior safety teams.

6. Communicate with all levels in the organization on EHS to engage with, influence, and motivate the Plant Manager, managers, supervisors, and employees. Drive EHS initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals and strategy.

7. Audit and evaluate the performance of the EHS management system. Create and drive action plans to implement identified corrective actions.

8. Establish systems for monitoring and auditing EHS performance throughout the organization and provide timely, action oriented reports to management to ensure appropriate progress is maintained towards achieving the organization’s goals and strategy; and compliance with TE policies, specifications and EHS legislation.

9. Establish and implement monitoring procedures for changes in EHS legislation applicable to the organization and ensure the EHS management system is up to date to ensure compliance.
