Job Overview
DDN- An Equipment Technician's job involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime, often requiring knowledge of PLC, vision system, electrical-electronics, mechanical, pneumatics and safety protocols.
Job Requirements

Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, identifying root causes.

Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.

Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.

Interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical documentation.

Support installation and setup of new equipment, including cable and component connections.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition.

Document issues encountered and actions taken for resolution.

Adhere to all safety policies and regulations in the workplace.
What your background should look like

Graduate of at least a 2-year Technology course.

3–5 years of relevant experience in Plating, Stamping, or Molding operations.

Strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Familiarity with PLC, CCD - vision systems, basic electronics/electrical, mechatronics, automation, and robotics.

Proficient in maintenance documentation (PM check sheets, work instructions).

Computer literate; knowledgeable in MS Office, email, and related communication tools.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
