Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Handling of transport, Inbound and Outbound logistics operations.
  • Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations
  • Monitoring of the deliveries, handling insurance coverages, duties as well as tax obligations Designing and implementing all export and import strategies and preparing effective business plans Resolving the queries of the clients related to export and import process and expenses.
  • Logistics, Warehousing Distribution Units Management. Interact with customers/clients face to face or over the phone and foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Receiving and sorting incoming bill of lading with attention to discrepancies. Audits bill of lading to ensure billing requirements are met
  • Documentation of bl draft and filing shipping instructions Placing booking on various shipping lines and airlines Issuing master B/L and House B/L Shipping bill and handling of containers/ goods loading and unloading at warehouse
  • Communication and Coordination with PEZA, Customs, PDEA, Brokers, Consultants and other government agencies as needed.
  • Warehouse Operations assistance from Receiving, Inventory, Issuance to Production, FG Management.
  • Meeting all the compliances related to regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Follows rules and regulations EHS, GST etc Environmental health and safety associated with his responsibilities

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related field
  • Min 5-8 years’ experience in the field Logistics and Warehouse Management
  • Strong experience in Importation and Exportation Process
  • Solid experience in PEZA & Customs processing and documentation
  • SAP knowledge is added advantage
