JUNIOR MACHINIST TECHNICIAN
OVERVIEW
The position is responsible for the operation of Sparking-EDM. To support the fabrication of spare parts and jigs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To do Sparking EDM of spare parts for tooling and repair projects.
- Make parts that conforms to dimensional tolerances as specified in the drawing.
- To do programming using G-Codes.
- Responsible in fabrication of electrode using milling & lathe machine.
- To keep and update inventory on tools, accessories and instrument used on Sparking EDM machine.
- To do machining of jigs and fixtures.
- To be responsible of the safety and maintenance of the machines and tools in the tool room especially
- Sparking EDM machine.
- To be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping 5’S proper teamwork and coordination between
- all other department in achieving the compliance of the company’s rules and regulation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate or vocational course graduate of any machinist- related course (conventional or non- conventional)
- Willing to learn how to read technical and 2D drawings
