Job Title:  INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER II

The IE Practitioner will be responsible to maintain cost competitiveness and stable delivery by optimally managing all process from production to sales and should act as catalyst to drive Business process improvements.

 

This job also includes identifying accurate manufacturing environments through job measurement & data analysis and identifying/suggesting opportunities for improvement through mid- to long-term industry and product trend, capacity, cost, P&L, labour efficiency analysis.

 

Requirements

 

  • Ability to establish and use standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead to measure performance and identify variances.

 

  • Competence in analyzing cost variances between actual and standard costs to identify the reasons for discrepancies and take corrective actions.

 

  • Expertise in identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality, such as through process improvements, waste reduction.

 

  • Expertise in creating and managing BOMs, which detail the materials, components, and assemblies required to manufacture a product, along with their associated costs.efficient resource utilization.

 

  • Expertise in creating, maintaining, and updating material master records, including critical data such as material types, descriptions, units of measure, and material groups.

 

  • Managing revisions and changes to BOMs and material master data, including implementing version control practices and documenting changes.

 

  • Skills in designing and managing workflows to ensure smooth and continuous production, minimizing bottlenecks and downtime.

 

  • Conducting time and motion studies to understand and optimize the time required for various tasks and processes on the shop floor.

 

  • Assessing and planning for the capacity of the shop floor to meet production demands, considering factors such as equipment capabilities, labor availability, and space constraints.

 

  • Designing the layout of the shop floor to optimize the flow of materials, reduce movement, and improve overall efficiency.

 

  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency, quality, and productivity of shop floor operations.

 

 

 

Qualification:

  • 3-7 years of manufacturing experience in Industrial engineering team or strategic planning team
  • Demonstrated Operation strategy skill to maintain a highly efficient manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP system set up and use is a plus (SAP)
  • General knowledge of Operations / Manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge on manufacturing technologies: Stamping, Plating, Assembly, Molding
