JOB SUMMARY 

The TEOA Analyst serves as an individual contributor and site subject matter expert for TE Operational Advantage (TEOA), Lean Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence. The role drives TEOA deployment, Lean maturity advancement, value stream transformation, productivity improvement, and data-driven performance management across the site. 

Working through influence rather than direct people management, the TEOA Analyst partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and support functions to translate business priorities into sustainable improvement initiatives and measurable operational results. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. TEOA System Deployment and Governance 

• Lead the deployment and sustainment of TEOA principles, tools, standards, and management systems across the site. 

• Support the development, execution, and periodic review of the annual site TEOA and Lean maturity roadmap. 

• Facilitate site assessments, gap analyses, readiness reviews, and closure of improvement actions. 

• Monitor implementation progress and provide clear status, risks, and recommendations to site leadership. 

2. Lean Transformation and Value Stream Excellence 

• Lead Value Stream Mapping, current-state analysis, future-state design, and transformation planning. 

• Facilitate Kaizen events, improvement workshops, and cross-functional problem-solving activities. 

• Apply Lean tools such as standard work, visual management, daily management, 5S, pull systems, Kanban, quick changeover, problem solving, and waste elimination. 

• Identify constraints and flow opportunities across manufacturing and supporting processes. 

3. Operational Performance and Cost Improvement 

• Analyze site performance and lead initiatives that improve manufacturing lead time, on-time delivery, productivity, inventory performance, quality, and conversion cost. 

• Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of improvement projects aligned with annual operating and financial goals. 

• Track business impact, validate benefits with relevant stakeholders, and ensure improvements are sustained through standard work and ownership. 

4. Analytics, Reporting, and Management Systems 

• Develop and maintain dashboards, visual management systems, and structured performance reviews. 

• Analyze operational data, trends, and root causes to generate actionable recommendations. 

• Support Tier meetings, accountability reviews, escalation processes, and action tracking. 

• Prepare concise project updates and leadership presentations. 

5. Capability Development and Lean Culture 

• Deliver or coordinate TEOA and Lean training, coaching, and knowledge-transfer activities. 

• Coach project teams and functional partners in the practical application of Lean tools and structured problem solving. 

• Support the development of site Lean capability and certification pathways. 

• Promote a culture in which employees identify waste, solve problems, implement improvements, and update standards. 

6. Cross-Functional and Strategic Project Leadership 

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional improvement projects without direct authority over project members. 

• Define project scope, milestones, risks, resources, governance, and sustainment plans. 

• Partner with TEOA networks to share best practices and support broader initiatives. 

• Act as an internal process, productivity, and cost-improvement consultant to site stakeholders. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED 

Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or another relevant engineering or technical field. 

Experience 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Operations. 

• Demonstrated experience leading Lean projects, Kaizen events, and value stream transformation activities. 

• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting authority. 

Technical and Professional Skills 

• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, value stream management, structured problem solving, and project management. 

• Strong data-analysis capability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar visualization tools is an advantage. 

• Ability to connect operational metrics with productivity, cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and customer outcomes. 

• Excellent communication, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills. 

• Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results. 

• Fluent spoken and written English and local language. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage. 

• TEOA Practitioner / Lean Expert capability, or an equivalent advanced Lean certification, is preferred. 

• Experience with Lean maturity assessments, SAP, MES, Power BI, or manufacturing analytics systems is an advantage.
