Job Overview
Ensures quality standards, reduces reworks and rejections, maintains cycle times to ensure delivery dates, and designs mold improvements and modifications.
Job Requirements
- Analyzing records, reports, charts, production schedules, and work orders, determining production needs, and completing the necessary paperwork.
- Monitoring the quality checks, documenting the results of quality procedures, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure that the testing/ repair is done per the schedule.
- Coordinating with the engineers to understand the specifications and requirements of the product, communicating it to the team, and ensuring the quality of the output.
- Assisting with the problems related to production processes, methods used for fabrication, machine settings, and recommending solutions based on substitute material and the machine's ability.
What your background should look like
Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
