Job Overview

  • Ensures product quality throughout manufacturing processes, including: Creating and maintaining Control Plans, Participating in PFMEA activities in cooperation with supporting functions.
  • Analyzing quality issues and contributing to the development and leadership of continuous improvement plans.
  • Developing and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Initiating and participating in continuous improvement projects, including reporting activities to support organizational objectives related to manufacturing quality and cost reduction.
  • Monitoring and evaluating process performance with a focus on scrap rates and Cost of Quality (CoQ).
  • Participating in both planned projects and ad hoc activities.
  • Introducing measuring equipment into production, planning and ensuring the handover of measuring devices for calibration.
  • Promoting and implementing the Corporate Policy, including the Quality Policy and Environmental Policy.
  • Supporting TEOA tools and methodologies.
  • Identifying issues and reporting non-conformities related to products, processes, quality management systems, or environmental management systems.
  • Blocking and releasing materials/products when non-conformities are identified against established specifications defined by Control Plans, drawings, and other relevant documentation.
  • Authority to approve or stop production based on product quality assessment.

Ideal Background

  • Secondary school education (technical education preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • Knowledge of measurement techniques and measurement methods used in the mechanical engineering and electrical manufacturing industries
  • Experience with manufacturing quality documentation, including Production and Control Plans, Inspection Instructions, and Procedures
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
  • Experience in preparing reports and statistical analyses is an advantage
