Your main tasks:
Advanced Quality Engineering team is responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as an essential element of our New-Product-Development (NPD) process, acting as ‘Voice of the Customer’ from a quality perspective.
We are leading the quality development in each New Product Development (NPD) by using and promoting standard methods such as Design- & Process FMEA to deliver first time right quality in each project. The assurance and continuity of all quality and customer requirements throughout the development process until a successful launch at the customer is our main mission.
Standard methods and Tools we are using:
- Design- & Process-FMEA
- Functional Safety
- A-Spice and Cyber Security
- Definition of Control Plan (CP)
- Statistical Analysis via MSAs and capability studies (Cmk/Cpk)
- Support with PPAP preparation acc. to customer requirements (SC/CC)
- Safe Launch Control (SL) if applicable
With these we mitigate risk and prevent any potential quality issue leading to zero defects at our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Participates as a key member of new product development core teams, to help ensure that new product quality plans (validation plans, raw/component material specifications, etc.) and risk management files are appropriately established.
- Supports product sustaining development within the product life cycle
- Supports new process development team (MDE), including development of new measurement methods.
- Direct engagement with global customers
- Performing an active role in further development and continuous improvement of the quality management system through identified initiatives, focusing on more mid-term/long-term projects
- Creates Prototype/preserial control plans and handoff to serial production
- Responsible for test data post processing and technical review of verification & validation to ensure robustness of design.
- Investigation of root cause and following through on effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence for the customer and internal quality issues.
- Supports customer and certification audits.
- Maintains relevant documentation to comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of the company-wide validation programs. Quality review of responsible area validation documentation.
- Investigates and implements corrective and preventive actions to meet business and compliance requirements.
- Reports to Quality Manager regarding the progress and results of projects.
- Assists the Quality Manager in presentations of technical nature when requested.
- Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules, 5S+1, TEOA and Quality management regarding IATF 6949, ISO 9001, AS9100
- Knowledge sharing based on team’s operational requirements and strategies.
- Works cross-functionally with global engineering teams, product managers and support teams to ensure on-time execution with on-target quality and cost of programs.
Your ideal background:
- BS in manufacturing engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related degree
- Five or more years’ experience in supporting a manufacturing environment with progressive levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated knowledge of thermoplastic processing and equipment, including the broad array of materials that are used in the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data, create an action plan, and execute a plan that delivers business results.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills (Ishikawa analysis, 5Why, Is/Is-not, FTA...)
- Ability to sustain high performance standards and attention to detail in unstructured and unsupervised situations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Czech and English, both verbal and written
