The Supply Chain Manager is part of the Central Supply Chain team and is responsible for driving the global Supply Chain performance of the Industrial unit by leading Supply Chain strategy design and process improvements projects in close collaboration with their Supply Chain managers, teams and other stakeholders in and outside the business unit like Product Management, Plant Management and SC, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Logistics, etc.
Tasks Summary & Responsibilities
•Define the BU and Sub-verticals Supply Chain strategy together with the Central and Sub-Vertical Supply Chain managers
•Lead and participate in projects to implement process improvements in all Supply Chain areas like Demand Management, Order Management, Master Production Planning & Production Scheduling, Order Fulfilment Strategies, New Product Introduction, Inventory strategies (MTO/MTS/ATO), Bill of Materials, Routing, Capacity Planning, Logistics and Distribution, Inventory Management, KPI, Supplier forecasting & collaboration.
•Driving standardization by developing Best Practices and deploying Standard Work
•Represent and participate on behalf of BU Industrial in cross-BU Supply Chain projects.
•Participate in the implementation of Supply Chain IT tools like SAP-S/4 and SAP-IBP
•Work closely with the Continuous Improvement teams to drive innovation and continuous Improvements, share best practices and drive culture of continuous improvement
•Lead, coach and develop a small team of SC project managers
Skills & Abilities Required:
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or similar
•10+ years’ cross functional experience in Supply Chain / Demand Management or related in an international organization with complex supply chain.
•5+ years’ experience in leading SIOP process and proven track record of driving and achieving significant process improvements.
•Extensive functional knowledge of planning, forecasting and related integrated supply chain areas.
•Experience of working in the Industrial sector, preferably in a high mix low volume environment.
•Experienced in leading cross functional projects and/or distributed business teams
•Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
•Experience in multiple Supply Chain areas, understanding and able to optimize x-functional interdependencies
•Ability to oversee broad and complex end-to-end Supply Chain environment
•Lean & Value Stream Mapping experience is a plus.
•Integral thinking and can optimize processes cross functional
•Advanced user of IT tools like: SAP ECC & MM, MicroSoft office: Powerpoint, Excel. Experience with SAP-IPB is a plus
•Strong communication and presentation skills.
