Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
What your background should look like:


Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent;
Experience in a Logistics role in an international commercial company and working with 3rd Party Logistics Providers;
Affinity with warehouse management systems and good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP);
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, SAP (key user)
Good English communication skills
Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement thinking
Drive for results
High attention to detail/accuracy
Main responsibilities within Industrial BU:

Reporting & analysis in the area of Freight and Distribution spend globally for Industrial BU.
Prepare slide deck for monthly freight & distribution spend review;
Look for opportunities to reduce freight & distribution center spend, while balancing Extraordinary Customer Experience within EMEA.
Support cross functional teams by providing Freight & Logistics details to allow teams to make balanced decisions.
Support IND users within EMEA – solving issues related to freight and distribution upon requested;
Participate in logistics project on behalf Industrial BU to drive logistic KPI improvement.
Track progress on improvement actions. Monitor progress with project members and drive/escalate if actions are not followed up correctly. 
Establish together with Finance Team and GLOG a reliable Freight Audit Payment (FAP) reporting process and drive data accuracy and granularity on behalf of Industrial.
Support Distribution center footprint changes with counterpart in Operations, Customer care, Global logistics and TEIS;                               
Partner with Global logistics team (GLOG) to drive Freight and Distribution Key performance indicators
Support Industrial within EMEA area, requests from Customers for implementation of Customers Specific Labelling and packaging requirements
