Job Overview

The Toulouse site (certified IATF16949, ISO 9001/2000 and ISO 14001) develops and manufactures sensors in large series. TE Toulouse is experiencing a strong development of products and projects for the automotive sector.
We are recruiting an industrial software engineer (f/m) to join our Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will report directly to the Manufactruing Engineering Manager. 


You lead the software and database management area inside Toulouse Manufacturing Engineering team. You manage internal and external resources to improve EHS, quality, productivity and equipment robustness.

You will be responsible to design human machine interfaces, machine connection, database architecture, test and calibration software and engineering tools. You are in charge to create, update and maintain the technical folder and associated documentation.

During all the development phases, you will organize needs inventory meeting with other departments, feasibility study, design survey, supplier quotes and order tracking, coding, set up, standard work document redaction and users trainee.

As an expert you interact closely with other EMEA sites. You are in charge to create and update a “connected workstation mapping “and its associated action plan. You are in charge to deploy the actions according to the target you defined with the digital factory center of excellence.


-    Directs and oversees software and database development team
-    Team member for new or improved equipment production start according to the performances, cost and delivery time targets.
-    Works with production, maintenance, quality, EHS and process team to prevent any human, product or machine accident.
-    Act as a project manager with associated reporting communication.
-    Responsible to hire and manage resources for software and database management function.
-    Travels as necessary

What your background should look like:

-    Engineering degree with a specialization in computer development
-    At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and database management
-    Experience in project management is an asset
-    Good knowledge of coding fundamentals
-    Experience with C#, Delphi, Pascal programming languages is an advantage.
-    Experience in the industrial (automotive) environment is an asset
-    Very good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-functional environment 
-    You're a good team player.
-    Negotiation level in French and advanced level in English
