HR Generalist F/H - Fixed Term Contract

Job Overview

TE's HR Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.


Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be part of a team of 3 people based at our Toulouse site. You will be the main contact for the support and engineering functions for a total workforce of 140 people. 
This is a 2 to 3 month fixed term contract starting August 1st 2021.



  • Contributes to implementation and execution of HR strategies aligned with business strategies and needs.
  • Provides HR expertise to meet Business goals and objectives.
  • Contributes to organization design, workforce planning, organization development and organizational effectiveness strategies.
  • Assists in driving organizational culture towards TE values and CEO vision, unleashes people’s potential through development and inclusion.


  • Provides advice and counsel to business managers on HR matters to improve individual, team and management effectiveness.
  • Manages facilitation of processes for recruiting and talent management.
  • Facilitates compensation planning process to ensure “Pay for Performance”.
  • Executes performance management process for business in efficient manner (objective setting, development planning, performance reviews, calibration).
  • Supports implementation of change management processes and facilitates organizational change.
  • Manages employee relations to ensure legal compliance and a respectful working environment.
  • Delivers HR operational excellence through TEOA and shares best practices.


  • Ensures Organizational Leadership Review (OLR) and strategic succession planning to support the business.
  • Delivers talent development plans to strengthen the talent pipeline for all critical positions.
  • Drives employee engagement through effective communication, programs, development and growth opportunities.
  • Utilize various communication tools to motivate employees to foster a collaborative culture.


What your background should look like:

  • 4 years University or Master’s degree in human resources or related fields (Psychology, Business Administration, …) and/or equivalent experience in HR management
  • At least 3 years of experience in several of the following: Recruitment, training and development, change management, talent retention, succession planning, labor law, industrial relations, internal communication, schools relations, disciplinary management, partnering with external authorities and stakeholders
  • HR information systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, ADP, HR Analytics, etc.)
  • MS Office advanced user
  • Fluent French & English (written, spoken)
  • Active listening and communication skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation (within the role’s scope)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of local labor legislation
