Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Total Rewards teams develop, implement and evaluate Total Rewards programs, tools and initiatives (e.g., wage and salary administration, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluation, global mobility, executive compensation and health, life and retirement benefits) in the context of TE's internal and external environment to attract, retain and motivate employees. They administer and communicate the company’s benefits program plan options, features and enrollment requirements and assist employees with benefit claim administration inquiries.  They implement and execute mobility programs and services supporting employee short- and long-term transfers, assignments, country entry and domestic or international relocation.  In addition, the Total Rewards team analyzes Total Reward cost containment strategies and make recommendations for improvement/enhancement as appropriate. They also ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices and stay current with laws, regulations and procedures governing international mobility and immigration.

Job Summary

Reporting into the LATAM Total Rewards Lead, this role provides analytical support for the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs including job evaluation, salary planning, savings plans, and group insurance. This role must understand and apply principles and practices of total rewards as well as create training and communication materials.


  • Responsible for coordination of appropriate compensation and benefits surveys in partnership with the broader Total Rewards function
  • Analyze and make recommendations regarding the LATAM market reference points
  • Analyze and develop the organization's compensation and benefits programs
  • Assist in the implementation of base pay, incentive programs and benefits programs 
  • Evaluate and recommend leveling of jobs
  • Assist in the education of HR on annual compensation planning, incentives, compensation offers, and global job framework
  • Review proposed salary increases and provide feedback based on analysis of the labor market and internal equity
  • Analyze and forecast the cost of compensation and benefits programs
  • Support the creation of total rewards communications and training
  • Support the policy review and insurance renewals


  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) Human Resources, Finance or Business Administration
  • 2 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Knowledge Fiscal & Labor Legal regulation
  • General understanding of global survey providers (interpretation/participation)
  • Solid analytics skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • South America and/or Costa Rica experience preferred
  • Level of English: Intermediate / Advanced
