Job Overview
Responsabilities
- Purchase order placement and expediting.
- Ensure confirmation from suppliers are received and captured in ERP
- Assists in general responsibilities in the supply chain department.
- Review and execute issues for planned or released purchase orders since they indicate a situation that need an action to prevent inventory excess or shortage
What your background should look like:
- Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing or materials experience
- Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced operation.
- Excellent proactive communication & organization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines and follow through.
- Total cost evaluation and analysis of supplier spend and consolidation.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BPCS and Internet use.
- High degree of accuracy and detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Desired Qualifications include BS or BA degree, understanding of MRP; electronics purchasing experience
- SAP Experience
- Temporary hire for 1 year.
