Position Summary - The Product Pricing Analyst III supports the Industrial Business Unit by driving pricing decisions through data analysis, pricing intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for managing product pricing, evaluating pricing effectiveness, identifying margin improvement opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations that support profitable business growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Program Management, Finance, Customer Service, and business leadership teams.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of experience in Pricing, Business Analytics, Finance, Commercial Analysis, or a related field.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Proven experience using data to support business decisions and commercial strategies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, CPQ, GPMS, or similar platforms.
- Experience with pricing software (e.g., PROS/Conga) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools is highly desirable.
Language:
- Professional proficiency in English.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Business Analytics:
- Develop, analyze, and maintain product pricing strategies that support business objectives and profitability targets.
- Evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve margins and commercial performance.
- Analyze pricing trends, customer behavior, transactional data, and agreement performance to support decision-making.
- Identify pricing leakage, business risks, and growth opportunities through data-driven analysis.
- Partner with business stakeholders to recommend and implement pricing improvements.
- Support strategic pricing initiatives and commercial decision-making across the Industrial Business Unit.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Manage pricing requests and maintain pricing data within company systems and tools.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of pricing data.
- Utilize analytics tools, AI capabilities, Excel, SAP, CPQ, and other business systems to generate insights and reporting.
- Create dashboards, analyses, and business reports that support pricing and profitability objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Program Management, Finance, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams.
- Translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations and actions.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, reports, and visualizations.
- Communicate pricing processes, strategies, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
