Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

What your background should look like:

RESPONSABILITIES:

•Follow up on the materials so that they are shipped in a time according to the established route and with the authorized forwarders and / or carriers.
•Daily review of the Shipment Report, send it to the carrier according to the origin and the shipment condition.
•Ensure compliance with the SOP and KPIs of each logistics provider within the supply chain  
•Give clearance instructions to the Customs Broker, on the clearance of the arrived materials
•Share commercial documents and pre-alerts of material to Customs Brokers
•Ask to Trade Compliance for an A3 of any material needed
•Update TAD date for consultation of internal departments twice a week
•Edit the instruction in ZCARRIER whenever there is a change in the pickup process with supplier of origin and request Global Logistics to change it in SAP 
•Coordinate and monitor with transportation providers the delivery of materials to CEDIS Querétaro, Guadalajara, Cd. Juarez and another destination according to the instructions of internal clients.
•Send the transport data of the deliveries to the warehouse team for the reception of materials. 
•Update daily and review the shipment report
•Comply with the transit times established in the system through reports and graphs, for the measurement of the objectives. 

REQUIREMENTS:

•School: Degree in International Trade, International Relations, or International Business.  
•Professional experience: 3 years in logistics area
•Advanced English
•Knowledge: Customs Law and foreign trade in general, Incoterms 2020, means of transport, clearance process. 
•Skills: Customer focus, problem solving, negotiation, task tracking, information analysis, organized, schedule availability, proactivity
•Key values and behaviors: Responsibility, Service attitude, teamwork and knowing how to give clear and precise instructions.
•Software or systems: SAP, Office Package (Excel intermediate, Power Point, Word)
•Special requirements:  Dealing with customs brokers, availability of hours according to the region of origin of the product.
