The role of Value Stream Manager aims to ensure and sustainably improve the performance of the Value Stream, by developing and managing people, implementing a robust problem-solving system and promoting continuous improvement. This objective is achieved through training, observation and coaching, as well as by creating the operational discipline necessary to achieve results in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost and people, according to the principles of TE Production Organization (TEPO). By successfully fulfilling this operational leadership role, the investment in the position of Value Stream Manager is recovered by definition, through operational stability, improved performance and the development of an organization capable of consistently delivering results. In this context, the Value Stream Manager clearly defines the performance indicators (KPIs) and related targets for the Supervisors in his area of responsibility, ensuring that they are aligned with the plant's objectives and business strategy. To support this goal, the personalized Leader Standard Work (daily leadership routine) and the KPI dashboard are used as essential management tools, for:
- ensuring compliance with the standards in the production area (shop floor),
- creating visibility into performance,
- facilitating rapid response and structured escalation when key indicators deviate from the set targets.
Your main tasks:

- He is responsible for the endtoend performance of the Value Stream, ensuring that the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) objectives are achieved
- Define, track, and validate Value Stream KPIs, ensuring their alignment with the plant's business strategy and objectives
- Analyze Value Stream performance and set clear directions for improvement when results deviate from targets
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data in the SAP system in relation to the situation in the field, including:
verification and correlation of production/delivery orders entered in SAP with those actually executed
monitoring and reconciliation of scriptural stocks in SAP with physical stocks in locations/warehouses
identifying, analysing and reporting differences and variations (quantitative and/or value)
contributing to the improvement of internal processes to reduce discrepancies between SAP and the situation on the ground

Leadership & development of the organization
- Develops and strengthens the structure of the TE Production Organization (TEPO) in its area of responsibility, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and interfaces
- He is responsible for the development of Supervisors, through coaching, structured feedback and support in the implementation of Leader Standard Work
Daily Management & Operational Governance
- Leads and standardizes the Tiered Daily Management system on Value Stream, ensuring the discipline of daily cascades and the efficient escalation of issues
- It reviews the daily and weekly performance of the lines, validating the quality of the analysis and the effectiveness of the established actions
Safety, quality and compliance
- He is ultimately responsible for the safety performance of the Value Stream, ensuring that accident analysis and risk management are carried out correctly and sustainably
Planning, Resources & Capacity
- He is responsible for capacity and resource planning for Value Stream, in collaboration with Planning, Supply Chain and HR
- Validate personnel and competency plans, ensuring the necessary coverage through the Skill Matrix and Training Plan
- Supports S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and budgeting processes, ensuring the alignment of costs and capacity with business requirements
Cross-functional collaboration
- It acts as a single point of responsibility for the Value Stream in relation to the support functions (Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Safety)
- and monitoring the correction of registration errors, in collaboration with the departments involved (operational, logistics, financial)
Continuous Improvement & TEOA
- Leads the implementation and maturation of TEOA in Value Stream, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, standardization, and flow
- It sets priorities for improvement based on the losses, variability and risks identified
- It ensures the systematic closure of employees' improvement ideas, with feedback and recognition
Value Stream Manager
- Set the direction for the Value Stream
- Perform weekly Gemba walks (ideally daily), with a clear goal (check what matters)
- Verifies the application and compliance with the standard work of the Supervisors
- Provides training and coaching to Supervisors
- Leads Tier 3 accountability meetings
Your ideal profile:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
8+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or production management
Proven experience leading a Value Stream, Production Unit
Strong people leadership experience, including managing Supervisors, Team Leaders
Demonstrated ownership of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) performance metrics
Experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
Hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Gemba Walks, Standard Work, and structured problem-solving methodologies
Experience analyzing manufacturing KPIs, identifying performance gaps, and implementing corrective actions
Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce planning
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance teams
Solid SAP or ERP system experience, including production orders, inventory management, stock reconciliation, and data accuracy monitoring
Experience ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety standards, and operational procedures
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve operational discrepancies and root causes
Experience supporting S&OP, budgeting, and cost management activities
Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing talent, including succession planning and capability building
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present operational performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership..
