The role is responsible for completing complex technical tasks, which include planning and designing new products, improving production methods, planning machinery and tools, as well as implementing equipment and workflows to ensure a safe and efficient production environment. Your main tasks:

  • Provides mentorship and technical support to team members
  • Centralizes and communicates technical and project-related information
  • Plans and implements efficient and innovative production processes
  • Manages process improvement projects (planning, execution, monitoring).
  • Defines production routes, specifications, and methods for new or existing products.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and cost‑reduction analyses, as well as time and method studies.
  • Coordinates the implementation, validation, and monitoring of special processes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and relevant standards.Uses CAD/PLM systems to update drawings and documentation.
  • Develops and updates technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Organizes training sessions for the team and operators regarding new processes and technologies.
  • Develops and implements efficient and innovative production processes.Identifies and implements improvements in the production process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manages process improvement projects in manufacturing, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • May initiate design changes for cost efficiency and reviews the use of production facilities.
  • Supports the customer of assigned projects regarding technical issues during project development and serial production (e.g., selection of critical characteristics).
  • Defines production routes and specifications for current products and implements technical changes for existing products.
  • Conducts feasibility and cost‑reduction studies and may establish necessary work standards.
  • Assists in developing production standards and measuring production norms.
  • Identifies and analyzes technical problems in production processes.
  • Develops solutions for issues and implements them on the shop floor.
  • Provides technical support to the production team to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and processes.
  • Maintains up‑to‑date information in the engineering database, including product data, material components, routings, etc.
  • Performs routine work measurements and triggers line set‑up for new products or product improvements.
  • Establishes production methods and the sequence of production processes to ensure adequate capability for manufacturing quality products in the required quantities and at a competitive cost.
  • Develops production methods and factory layouts for some new or existing products that are not highly complex.
  • Assists in determining production specifications and recommends materials and equipment to be purchased.
  • Supports analysis and capital planning for required production equipment.
  • Supervises and assists with testing new tools, building prototypes, and starting new production lines, while documenting results.
  • Assists in analyzing material flow, methods, procurement, and installation of equipment or systems that support production capacity.
  • Uses CAD systems to maintain and update drawings.
  • Coordinates the implementation, validation, and monitoring of special processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements for the special processes of assigned projects.

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
  • 3–5 years of experience in production engineering, with a proven track record in process improvement and project management
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing techniques and production technologies
  • Ability to use CAD software and other design and analysis tools
  • Excellent project management and team coordination skills
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capability to make data‑driven decisions
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations
  • Understanding of applicable quality standards
  • Conversational level of English
