STRATEGIC SOURCING ANALYST II

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. This role is pivotal to the change management of the organization, as it ensures the ground level a TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. This role is pivotal to the change management of the organization, as it ensures the ground level accuracy of supplier data needed to support the growth of the Sensors Business Unit.  

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commodity Manager in the development of the 3-5 year regional commodity plan
  • Own and support the management of RFQ packages.
    • execution of the RFQ and summarizing the results
    • including part localization opportunities and tracking.
    • cost analysis
  • Support the Commodity Manager:
    • TEBIT (cost savings) activities
    • VAVE project management
    • VMI/Inventory programs
    • material escalations
    • supplier compliance
  •   Own the maintenance of info records and source lists
    • Including supplier lead time and pricing 
    • Support annual material standard cost set up
  • Together with SCM:
    • Tracking and alternative search for obsolete parts
    • Obsolete management support for own discontinued products
    • Forecasts with suppliers 
    • Supplier capacity analysis

What your background should look like:

  • 1-3 years experience in Procurement, Sourcing Analytics or Data Analytics.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility
