Why you should join:

This role combines Manufacturing Engineering, SAP/ERP Master Data Ownership, and Change Control Board (CCB) Coordination. You will lead the creation and maintenance of production master data (CPR PN creation, SAP BOMs, routings, production versions), define production sequences for new and modified processes, and ensure that all engineering changes are evaluated, approved, and implemented in a controlled manner. As the CCB Coordinator, you will run the change control process end‑to‑end, facilitate cross-functional CCB meetings, ensure timely and accurate ECN reviews, and maintain traceability from request to implementation. This position is essential to enabling accurate planning, compliant documentation, operational stability, and efficient product launch or change management.

Your main tasks:

1. Master Data Creation & Governance (SAP & CPR)

Create new Part Numbers (PNs) in CPR (consumables), ensuring correct attributes and revision control .

Build and maintain SAP BOMs, including alternates, effectivity management, and controlled updates.

Create and optimize SAP Routings: operations, work centers, activity types, cycle times.

Configure Production Versions including selection methods, validity dates, and lot-sizing parameters.

Ensure all ME-related SAP setups impacting planning and execution (scrap factors, backflush, capacities, etc.).

Configuration of Refence operation sets in case of approved process deviations

Validate data accuracy, run audits, and execute corrections to uphold master-data integrity.

2. Production Sequences & Process Definition

Understand new processes rapidly and translate them into production sequences, standard work, and process flows.

Define operation content, takt/cycle times, and work center allocation.

Convert engineering drawings and specifications into production-ready routings and documentation.

Support pilot builds and incorporate feedback into routings and times.

3. Change Control Board (CCB) Coordination

As the Change Control Board Coordinator, you will:

  • CCB Leadership & Facilitation

Organize, lead, and document Change Control Board meetings involving Engineering, Planning, Quality, ME, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Ensure ECNs/changes are thoroughly evaluated for impact on manufacturing, cost, tooling, capacity, material availability, and compliance.

Maintain the CCB calendar, agenda, and meeting minutes; ensure on-time approvals.

  • Change Process Administration

Manage the end-to-end Engineering Change Request (ECR) / Engineering Change Notice (ECN) workflow.

Validate completeness and accuracy of change documentation before CCB review.

Collaborate with Change Leader for tracking and reporting change progress, bottlenecks, and implementation status (effective dates, dispositions, cut-in plans).

Ensure proper coordination between PLM tools (e.g., CPR) and SAP master data changes.

  • Compliance & Documentation

Guarantee adherence to internal change management procedures and regulatory standards (APQP/PPAP, ISO, etc. if applicable).

Maintain traceability of all changes from request to implementation.

Support audits by providing evidence of change control compliance.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Planning/MRP for capacity, lead-time, and material availability alignment.

Partner with R&D/Design Engineering for DFM, change reviews, and ECN validation.

Support Operations and Quality during new product introduction, validation builds, and ramp-up.

Your ideal profile:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Background preferably in a high‑volume industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Process optimization
    • Production readiness
    • Cross‑functional engineering projects

Technical Competencies

  • Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, production technologies, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution), including:
    • Master data creation
    • Routing/operation management
    • Workflow configuration
  • Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and acting as CCB Coordinator, ensuring proper evaluation, approval, and implementation of engineering changes.
  • Ability to analyze and improve manufacturing flows using:
    • Structured problem‑solving
    • Root‑cause analysis
    • Data‑driven decision making
  • Familiarity with molding or other advanced fabrication processes (asset, not mandatory).
  • Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools used for:
    • Manufacturing layouts
    • Process documentation
    • Technical reviews

  • Strong project management skills; able to lead cross‑functional activities and coordinate changes across Engineering, Production, Quality, and IT.
