Job Overview

The Financial Analyst supports global Operations and Global Quality finance activities by delivering accurate analysis, standardized reporting, and actionable insights. The role partners closely with Central Operations Finance, Global Quality, and plant/regional finance teams to enable data‑driven decision‑making, consistent execution, and disciplined financial governance. 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and continuously improve standardized financial reports supporting global Operations and Quality
  • Analyze actuals versus budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, and variances
  • Support forecasting, outlook, and annual planning processes, including validation of assumptions and data consistency
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of cost, margin, working capital, and manufacturing/supply chain performance
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making
  • Partner closely with Global Quality, Central Operations Finance, and plant/regional finance teams to understand business drivers
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlight emerging risks, and support evaluation of trade-offs (cost, service, productivity, inventory)
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and strong financial governance across reports, templates, and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing reporting processes, standardizing methodologies, and reducing manual effort through automation and repeatable analyses

Ideal Background

 
  • University degree in any of the following: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Economics
  • 5 years experience in Finance, 1 to 3 years' experience in cost accounting, plant controlling area (controlling in manufacturing environment is needed)
  • Advanced computer skills - MS Office, especially Excel (Power BI or any automation tool would be a great advantage)
  • Solid and practical understanding of SAP various modules (PR2 preferred and S/4 would be of a great advantage)
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
