Job Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible with supporting plant controlling processes and reporting and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role performs standard cost updates in SAP, participates in efficiency initiative reporting (TEOA-F), and independently handles specific controlling areas, in respect of reporting and analysis. The position also supports the monthly financial closing process, inventory counts, other accounting processes or audits and is involved in various ad-hoc projects.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Runs periodic SAP reports and performs analysis on specific P&L buckets, fills in standard reports
  • Performs costing for manufactured products, ensures cost accuracy and inventory valuation integrity
  • Involved in Standard rates calculation & maintaining the costing set up in SAP (cost centers, activity types), standard cost variances analysis 
  • Calculates plant saving projects’ actuals and reports in specific tool
  • Supports the budgeting process handled by the plant controller or handles some budgeting areas independently
  • Performs specific checks and reports related to compliance and internal controls
  • Supports monthly closing and variance analysis, runs SAP month end cycles
  • Performs ad-hoc financial analyses independently or as support for the plant controller
  • Partners and exchanges information with all other plant departments to enable all the above

Key expectations

  • University degree in any of the following: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Economics
  • 5 years experience in Finance, 1 to 3 years' experience in cost accounting, plant controlling area (controlling in manufacturing environment is needed)
  • Advanced computer skills - MS Office, especially Excel (Power BI or any automation tool would be a great advantage)
  • Solid and practical understanding of SAP various modules (PR2 preferred and S/4 would be of a great advantage)
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
