Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

RESPONSABILITIES: 

  • Manage through the subordinate Supervisors all the Production activities applying the knowledge of the Plant Lay Out and the Production capacities of each department.
  • Directly responsible for complying with the Production program and efficiency levels, observing the scrap quality and control requirements.
  • Responsible for selecting, training, developing and acting as a facilitator for their supervisor.
  • Analyze causes of rejections to ensure a good quality product.
  • Validates and authorizes the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Production function.
  • Define and take preventive measures to avoid problems in the process.
  • Determines the effectiveness of the use of labor and projects the needs of labor and support personnel.
  • Advice administrations about production problems.
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage the objectives and budgets of each department, as well as the strategies and action plans to meet the objectives.
  • Formulate productivity reports and inform senior management.
  • Coordinates activities with the different areas that make up the company to meet production plans.
  • Supervise and evaluates measures designed to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar roles
  • Advanced English
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and lean Manufacturing processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
  • Able to create accountability and lead by example.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and a focus on solutions.
