Job Overview

Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.

Job Requirements

RESPONSABILITIES:

-Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
-Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
-Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
-Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
-Schedule shift according to production needs
-Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
-Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
-Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
-Prepare and submit status and performance reports
-Keep paperwork organized
-Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
-Plan and execute the messages from the MRP system - MRP
-Maintain an inventory that is cost efficient yet promotes a high customer service level.
-Analysis and proposal of Planning Parameters (SS, MRP Group, Abnormal demand, Lot Size, ABC, -Availability check, Min Ord Qty, Rounding Value) at least every QT

Qualifications/Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, Business or Engineering
-Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a manufacturing environment in materials planning/master scheduling/management role(s).  Demonstrated capabilities of managing and improving a constrained supply plan.
-Strong knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP Systems (SAP), ideally Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
-Extended knowledge of planning processes (MRP, MPS, SIOP).
-Experience with high mix/low volume demand and supply.
-Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
-Excellent collaboration skills.  Able to effectively communicate at different levels of the organization.  
-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
-Conceptual and problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach with the capability to drive and sustain performance improvements.
-Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort with large amounts of data.  Demonstrated ability in analyzing and driving data-driven actions and improvements.
-Basic knowledge of Lean Production (Value Stream Mapping, Material Replenishment and Flow, PFEP, etc.)
-General knowledge of Operations / Manufacturing processes in production plants as a basis for driving capacity improvements to support SIOP performance.
-Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
