Activities:
-Advises the administration on engineering problems and assists the production management using statistical and engineering techniques and tools such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, TQM, TPM, JIT, etc.
-Elaborates negotiates and manages the objectives and budgets of the engineering department, as well as strategies and action plans to meet these objectives.
-Supervises and coordinates the activities with the direct reports to facilitate the implementation and operation of the engineering systems of the VS
-Review engineering designs in compliance with customer requirements to engineering principles and organization standards. Validates and authorizes the procedures and operating standards of the engineering function.
Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, *Master (desirable)
-Minimum 5 years’ experience working with a manufacturing organization (area extrusion desirable) with proven success in simplifying processes and increasing production although the continuous improvement
-Minimum 5 years’ of management experience within a manufacturing plant required
-Knowledge of manufacturing systems, GMP (Good manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM Systems, new product introduction processes, process reengineering, maintenance, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, project management, ISO, QS, Safety and health standards, etc.
-Strong business vision, excellent management skills to achieve multiple projects and demands on time
-Requires leadership skills and work team training
