Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Trade Compliance Teams interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:


1. Update and monitoring of MX/US Import and Exports information for the sites of the Border Region needed by the Operations Team
2. CTPAT and OEA compliance for the Border Region
3. Overviews ITAR and EAR compliance for the Border Region
4. Manages Import-Export Procedures are updated and according to Mexico and US's Customs Laws and TE standards
5. Self Assessment the Border Region
6. International FTA Compliance of the Border Region sites through Management of FTA software of GTS
7. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of authorization processes
8. Harmonize TE authorizations-related operations
9. Attends internal and external import/export training conferences and seminars and participate in trade groups/councils related to import/export compliance and global trade. 
10. Works with the IT Analyst ensuring Annex 24 is updated for the Operations team to elaborate the documents necessary for the Border crossing process


Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in business, international relations or similar field
5 years or more
